See the map below for more information
We are lucky to share the driveway with Skinner Vineyards. Enjoy the outstanding view and well crafted Rhone blend wines from one of the nicest tasting rooms in Fairplay. Call ahead for lunch and other food options and enjoy the wine, view, and a tasty snack. Open Thursday-Monday until 5pm they are a great place to visit...and the drive back to the ranch is just down the driveway! Oh yea, they were also just included in wine and spirits magazine the top 100 wineries in the world for 2017! Solar powered winery.
Charles B. Mitchell Vineyards
If you're looking for a true taste of Fairplay (and I don't mean just the wine) a visit to Charles B Mitchell is in order. Offering a wide range of wines and price points you're sure to find something that's right for you. Come experience their famous bottle your own wine events or buy some futures from their barrel tasting events. While not directly on our driveway they are the next one up from us-although we both have very long driveways so you better drive.
Also just a driveway or two away from us is E16 Winery. New to this location but not new to wine making they bring a North Coast Flair and a few north coast wines as well. Enjoy some out of area Pinots sourced from areas such as the famed Russian River and Santa Lucia Highlands from the E16 brand while you enjoy some Syrah and other Rhone varietals from their Firefall label. Tasting room is in a wine cave.
Sustainable and organic vineyard practices along with truly hands-on winemaker/owner couple define this classic owner operated estate vineyard operation. Cedarville is only open by appointment to allow the owners/winemakers to focus on their product. Remember to make an appointment and don't miss this Fairplay classic.
Perry Creek Winery
One of the larger and national brand wineries you'll fine in Fairplay. Perry Creek is home to the famous Zinman wine as well as Altitude 2401 and their most reserve wine Cobra. A local icon with a winemaker who grew up in the area, Perry Creek also custom crushes for some other local wineries in the area.
A local owner run favorite that makes some of the bigger red wines in the area. At MV Winery you'll find owners John and Cindy on-site in the tasting room or around the property. A warm and cosy tasting offering great wines and a relaxing setting.
Known for more than just their rocking Jazz nights and a winemaker/owner who can step away from the crush and pick up a saxophone, Mastroserio is producing some great and elegant examples of Fairplay wines. Ruggero Mastroserio was trained to make wine in Italy and was a local winemaker in the area before starting his owner winery.
Enjoy another owner/operator Fairplay winery which is off the beaten path yet very accessible off of Fairplay Road. Farming sustainable and organic grapes that represent the terrior of Fairplay makes Shadow Ranch worth the trip.
Gwinllan Estate Winery
A family run winery who's passion for growing grapes and making wine lead them from England to Fairplay in a project that has spanned multiple generations. Tasting room is located in the side of the hill and offers a cave like tasting and unique experience. Have a tasting with the family that makes the wine at Gwinllan Estate Winery.
Another sustainable production facility boosting 5,000 square feet of underground wine production/tasting caves combined with a solar winery. Lots of wine styles and varietals to chose from all representing the foothill terrior. TooGood Estate Winery offers great events like bottle your own, case deals and private tasting.
The wineries represented by the red wine glass icons have weekend hours, those represented by the purple wine glass icons have extended hours-weekend and some weekday hours, and those represented by yellow are by appointment only.
