Rustic Wine Country Lodging & Farm Stay
Beautiful Cabins in the heart of the Fairplay Wine Region
The Rossetti Family invites you to the Seven-Up Guest Ranch, a private and historic Farm Stay. Our cabins are nestled in the rustic and charming foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are in the heart of the Fair Play wine region and centrally located to the other great wine regions of the area including the Shenandoah Valley, Fiddletown, and the wineries of Pleasant Valley. Experience the wines of the area, the allure of the mountains, and the retreat of the ranch.
What to Expect at Seven-Up Guest Ranch
A Fresh Approach to the Typical Bed & Breakfast Experience
You'll find the ranch directly off of Fair Play Road, sharing the same driveway as the iconic Skinner Vineyards. We are conveniently located directly in the Fair Play Wine AVA and are centrally located between the greater El Dorado Wine Country and Amador's famous Shenandoah Valley.
After a great day of tasting the local wines, you'll follow a long gravel driveway to our secluded main cabin where you will be met by one of our family members who will greet you and get you settled in. You will most likely be greeted by deer and turkeys as well which can commonly be seen at the ranch. We've also seen bobcat, coyote, and rattlesnakes on the property and heard of bear and mountain lions visiting the area too. Although the latter animals are less common, please be aware of their potential presence.
The property consists of a main cabin where you will check-in. If you've decided to select our optional breakfast it will be served here as well. Our friendly innkeeper can be found in the main cabin along with a common dining room with TV, patio and grill, extra coffee and supplies (coffee maker and some single use coffee pods will be available in your room as well), etc.
Down a windy path from the main cabin, but with additional parking if needed, you'll find our three rental cabins each with two completely separate rental rooms for a total of six rooms. Each room as its own bathroom and entrance. The two rooms in each cabin share a common front porch.
